The truth is: if you are someone to give people hope, you needn't worry about competitors, there's always going to be more "costumers" than "providers".

Kris Vallotton

Yes, it is true - everyone is in need of hope. So we will not be able to help them all on our own, we need to set boundaries

The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin, But there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 18:24 [AMP]

Of course, we can not be a close friend to everybody. We have to chose our community wisely. Who could be a good friend to you? Invest in that relationship proactively. Who is only taking from you? Make sure you set healthy boundaries, yet love this person in some way - that could mean: give them the contact to another "provider".
